Meet Aubrey Mathis

Hey Ya’ll I’m Aubrey Mathis. Overly Caffeinated Mom of 2 beautiful girls (Ema 10 and Ruby 5). Wife to Robert, who just happens to be a PRCA calf roper.

Yes, I’m married to a cowboy. Don’t think that means that I like riding horses or anything like that. All it means is that while my husband is out in the rodeo, I’m hanging with my girls – probably wearing my favorite red lipstick and nail polish and high heels too. I like to refer to my life as Audrey Hepburn falls in love with John Wayne.

While we call a small town outside of Waco our home we are blessed to travel all over during the summer months living in a horse trailer and waking up somewhere new every morning.

For the last 10 years I have been blessed to be a stay at home mom and this past fall my youngest daughter started pre-k leaving me with the WHAT NOW emotion. I started an online comfort gift business Today May Suck almost 2 years ago and finally had the chance to dedicate my days to it and grow it into a full time business. Along with that I was presented the opportunity to become a podcast co-host on a podcast that celebrates the woman behind kids, the wife life and the biz life and provides tips and tricks to help with the struggle of the juggle. I also partner with moms who love being a stay at home more but have a deep calling to do more and help them create a business they love and live a life unpinned at aubreymathis.com

I love helping women of any age find confidence to chase their dreams and am excited to be apart of this tribe of moms. 

When I am not blogging from the rodeo stands you can find me binge watching Friday Night Lights while eating chips and salsa. My word of the year is up-level and my motto is Live a Brave Life.
