Favorite Beauty & Skincare Products to Kick-off the New Year 2019

As moms and women, it is easy to let self-care take a back seat.  The New Year is the perfect time to make sure you are caring for your skin and getting back to a healthy regimen for 2019!

Viviscal Hair Supplement

These vitamins have been advertised in almost every magazine I have read in the last year.  If you have thinning hair due to post pregnancy or hormones, then this product is potentially a great option.  It is not FDA approved, but you can go to their website and look at the testimonials.  It is affordable and can be purchased at Target or on line.

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Chemical Peel Pads

A face peel treatment for aging, acne-prone and discolored skin.

This take-home chemical peel is hands down my favorite skincare product EVER! It comes in a box of 30 packets.  I used to  sell this product in my skincare business.  I no longer own the business, but I still use the product.   This treatment is the single most effective at home product I have used.  AND because I used to own a skincare line……I have tried a lot of products.  This chemical peel targets everything:  pigmentation, wrinkles, dead skin, sun damage, as well as brightens and moisturizes the skin.  I have been using this product for almost a decade.  It is awesome and worth the price. You can purchase it on Amazon, Dr. Dennis Gross website out of Manhattan, at Nordstrom, or at Facelogic Waco. Use the peel twice a week or three times a week. If you do not normally use a peel start off with the regular strength. If you get a facial often and your skin is used to peels you can start with the extra strength.

If you have problems areas it is always best to consult with a skincare professional or aesthetician before use.

Exuviance Age Reverse

I ran across this skincare line at Ulta.  The sales rep told me it was a great product, and that she used it and saw a positive effect.  There is no better way to sell a product than to demonstrate its outcome…SO…. I tried it. I bought the whole pack in a small starter set.  I really liked it and I definitely saw results. My skin was smoother and brighter. I could also see this product fights fine lines and brown spots. It has not yet been approved by the FDA, and the directions recommend giving your skin a break after using the system.  I  used it for a couple of months until the product was gone, and went back to my normal skincare regime. In order to prevent over use rotate this product in and out of your normal skincare product and routine.

If you have problem areas it is always best to consult a skincare professional or aesthetician before use.

Dior Hydra Life Fresh Hydration Sorbet Crème

Hydration Gel was big in 2018, and is not going anywhere because it is important for your skin. Especially in the winter when our skin can dry out easily and needs extra moisture.  I LOVE this moisturizing sorbet gel and used very last ounce. I cannot wait to buy more.  I applied it as a night crème, and the next morning my skin was dewy and plump.  Hydration is key, and this is the best hydration gel I have used. This product can be purchased at select Dillard’s locations, Nordstrom, and online.  This sorbet is definitely better than the grocery store brands and worth the extra cost.

Loreal Pure Clay Mask Argile-Pure

Clay masks are in and this one is great and affordable. You can find it at your local grocery store. Clay masks draw out the impurities, detox, and brighten the skin.  It makes the perfect ensemble to a bubble bath with candles.  This mask leaves skin feeling smooth, soft, and bright.
