I have been living in my workout clothes lately and usually opt for sneakers or flip flops depending on the weather. Today, we took a little road trip to Austin and I decided to throw on “normal” clothes for the occasion. I knew we would be doing a lot of walking, so I definitely didn’t want to wear flip flops. This is where my Mox flats saved the day.

To be completely honest with you, I wasn’t a huge fan of the style at first. They “looked” like an uncomfortable jelly type shoe. I need comfort with two active toddlers and almost passed on getting a pair. I am glad I decided to give them a try because I judged them wrong. These shoes are crazy comfortable! No exaggeration.

I don’t know about ya’ll, but I am WAY more inclined to make a purchase from that retailer over a company who charges me for returns.

So, I put these flats to the ultimate test. A  shopping day with toddlers. This will make or break anything, right? Since it was Mother’s Day, we had to park several blocks away from our restaurant. If you have been to the Domain in north Austin then you know what I am talking about. Oh, and it was also a high of 88 degrees that day. You know how some shoes don’t absorb sweat? I know, sweat is a gross topic, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t sweat in the hot Texas sun. My feet didn’t sweat the entire day! We walked several blocks to and from the restaurant, shopped until we dropped, chased my girls, and even ventured over to Golf Galaxy because somehow my husband talked me into it.  

I would be the first one to admit if a shoe isn’t comfortable, but I was super impressed the first time I wore them and continue to love them. We finished our day with an iced coffee from Starbucks and headed back home to Wacotown!
