Lee Ann James

Lee Ann James is the author of "A Hope and a Future" Prayer Guide. She lives in Waco, Texas with her husband Scott and three children. Lee Ann serves in an of-counsel role at the Cherry Johnson Siegmund James law firm and is a faculty member at Baylor Law School where she teaches in the legal writing program. Her classes focus primarily on litigation drafting and advanced discovery management. Lee Ann earned her J.D. with honors from Baylor Law in 2002, where she served as an Executive Editor for the Baylor Law Review, was a member of the Trial Advocacy Team, and earned the Matt Dawson Advocacy Award. Her early practice focused on medical malpractice defense, employment law, and general litigation. Lee Ann is actively involved in the community, is an active member at Harris Creek Baptist Church, enjoys traveling with her family, and spends most of her extra time watching her kids’ sporting activities.
