Hello Waco Moms Blog, let me introduce myself | Gracie Arias

My name is Gracie and I have lived in Waco since I was 6 years old. Waco is home, but I was born in San Angelo, Texas. I am a Netflix, music, podcasts, books, movie loving person.  My two favorite titles are wife and mother. I’ve been married to my husband for 10 years, we were lucky enough to find each other early in life, our senior year in high school actually. We have definitely grown up together. We are both currently new business owners. We are still learning how to balance everything and life has been anything but boring.  I have three beautiful children who are 9, 5, and 2 years old. They have definitely turned my life around in the best possible way. I wish that I could slow down time. They are amazing little creatures who are like magnets for my kisses and snuggles. Because of them my life is much busier, but also so much sweeter.

I graduated from TSTC in 2010 and for eight years I was a dental assistant. I loved working with children and met some really amazing people along my journey. Just recently I have embarked on a new path. As of this month I am a licensed massage therapist and loving what I do. I have just started my new business, Wacotown Massage. It’s a brand new adventure that I am a little nervous about, but also so proud of myself for. I have definitely found my passion and love what I do. I specialize in prenatal, postpartum, relaxation, and deep tissue. I strongly believe in the power of our bodies. If we take care of it, it will take care of us. I’m able to help women on their journey of motherhood, and that’s a huge blessing for me. I’m also able to help bring relief to people dealing with pain, anxiety, depression, and so much more.

I started my blog, Gracefulmess, about 2 years ago because writing was always my way to express my feelings. In my blog, I tackle things that sometimes may go unspoken, like postpartum depression, depression, and anxiety. When I share my feelings, I do it in hopes of uplifting others. The only way I’m able to do that is through my faith.  I hope that in some way I’m able to help someone else who may be fighting the same giants. My goals for future writing is, tackling tough topics, writing about balance between business and family, and informational blogs. My ultimate goal, is personal growth. I look forward to learning from other moms in our community and getting to know everyone.

I’m so thankful for the experience to be a part of Waco Mom Blogs. I believe in the power of encouragement. One positive affirmation can turn someone’s whole week around. Instead of nitpicking what other moms are doing, or where they’ve come from, lets lift each other up. I hope that in some way, I can do that through my blogs.
