Here we are half way through October! Halloween costumes should already be ordered or shopped for. Wasn’t that fast? Well the next couple of months are going to go by even faster and before you know it, it will be Christmas card and gift time. That is why the Junior League of Waco hosts its annual Deck the Halls Holiday Gift Market with full Christmas cheer starting November 1st through the 3rd.
Whether it be simply used as a fun friend hangout on Friday night’s Ladies Night Out where you can enjoy a delicious dinner, an open bar, and special inventory shopping OR if you are making this an opportunity to get the kids together for some festive pre-holiday cheer. Have your child get their picture taken with Santa and knock out that Christmas card shoot, or get them thinking about what gifts they might want. There are also fantastic childrens events such as Breakfast with Santa, Gingerbread Bash and Mother Daughter Tea. Visitors have knocked out all of their holiday shopping early for years thanks to the Junior League of Waco.
The best part? All ticket sales go to the Junior League of Waco as they work to continue their mission to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Since 1935 the Junior League of Waco has supported countless community efforts throughout Waco and most recently has hosted a .5k for Pre-K Awareness to highlight the power of sending children to pre-k and the free opportunities provided throughout our county, as well as Waco ISD’s Women’s Empowerment Summit and much more.
