Mamas, your life is about to get easier.
We all know the after school race to the finish. Practice, appointments, and of course needing to feed our family in between all of the shuffling. While a balance home cooked meal is ideal, it is not always the option. We are all trying to do our best at the end of the day, right?
Enter McDonald’s.
McDonald’s has partnered with Uber Eats and DoorDash to get food
delivered TO YOU, allowing you to track your order, customize your drop-off location, and use the same account you use to take rides!
I was attending an event last night and did not have time to prepare dinner. I had good intentions with the crock pot, but I never made it to the grocery store and curbside pick up was going to be too late. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to test DoorDash out myself before I recommended it to you. Is DoorDash that much more convenient than a drive thru? Well I am here to tell you, HECK YES.
- I placed our order and it was delivered in a sealed bag in 19 minutes. I liked that the bag was sealed! It provided an extra layer of comfort knowing that the food was not touched once the delivery driver left the restaurant.
- I can guarantee you that 19 minutes would beat the time it would have taken to drive to McDonald’s, wait in the drive thru, and drive back home.
I love that we live in a time where convenience is literally at our fingertips. To determine which McDonald’s locations in your area are participating in restaurant delivery, simply download the Uber Eats or DoorDash App, input your delivery address, and you will see a list of participating McDonald’s restaurants in your area (if McDelivery is available in your area).
