It’s springtime in Waco and like the flowers blooming around us, for our local grads — high school + college — it’s the season of new beginnings. Whether your grad is finishing at Baylor, MCC or one of our local high schools, we have so many great options to host the perfect graduation get-together this year.
Di Campli’s: Mossimo Di Campli, Owner and General Manager, grew up working in his family restaurant in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Thanks to his attention to detail in both service and menu the Di Campli’s experience is impeccable. The restaurant, designed in-part with Joanna Gaines, offers a private dining room (PDR) and one of the best wine lists in Waco.
Milo: Centrally located, Milo is a great location for your grad’s celebration. Executive Chef, Corey McEntyre, always has something fresh and exciting on the menu. For those looking to really celebrate, Milo always offers one of the city’s best wine selections or craft cocktails. Want a space all to yourself, Milo’s PDR is ideal.
Moroso: Thanks to gregarious owner, Dan Moroso, every meal at Moroso is special. Whether you’re enjoying the authentic Italian cuisine in the dining room, a wood-fired pizza in Moroso’s PDR or catering your party with Moroso’s mobile pizza oven, you’re event is sure to be super-fun.
135 Prime: Looking for a higher price point or finer dining, look no further than 135 Prime. 135 Prime’s food and service are top-notch. The restaurant features an amazing outdoor patio perfect for smaller groups, and its PDR options are some of the largest in Waco and available by reservation.
Revival: Owner and boss babe, Danielle Young, leads this Eastside Eatery with a customer and community service approach. A Baylor grad and former professor, Danielle is committed to rebuilding East Waco’s Elm street one quality soup, salad, sandwich and routinely-sold-out daily special at a time. The restaurant, normally only available to private gatherings outside operating hours, will offer you the opportunity to buy-out a shift for your special group.
Whether you rent a room at a fancy steakhouse, cater food in from a charming local spot, or eat takeout pizza on paper plates in your living room, we know your grad is blessed to have you leading the way as their mama! Graduation is a special time – savor it.
Congratulations to the Class of 2023 – Best of luck in your new adventures!
