Although it certainly doesn’t feel like fall in the Waco area, the Halloween and fall festival events are coming up before the first leaves have fallen from the trees. Here is what’s going on in and around Waco for the fall:

September 21-Nov. 3

Robinson Family Farm $10

Hayrides, farm animals, live music, games, bounce pad and corn maze.

 

September 29

Pumpkin Patch at Central Christian Church-Waco TX

Open from September 29 till October 31 10am-7:30pm

Pumpkins arrive by the truckload and vary in price from $1 on up

Great place for cute family pics while you pick up your pumpkins.

Supporting youth at Central Christian Church.

 

October 1

The pumpkin patch at Robinson

201 S. Old Robinson Rd. Robinson, TX

Free admission, hayrides, photo ops, games, maze, cornpit and barrel train ride.

They will also have pumpkin decorating and crafts for purchase.

 

October 5

First annual Boo-takular family fun festival and 5k run

West Temple Community Park-8420 West Adams Avenue, Temple, TX 76502

Chip timed 5k race at 8:30

Festival games 9am-2pm. Kids cards are $10 each

Pumpkin Patch will have pumpkins available for purchase and kids can decorate them there.

Proceeds benefit local St. Mary’s Catholic School.

 

October 6

6:30pm-Smores night in the patch-Central Christian Church-Waco, TX

 

October 12

Spooky Soda Science-Dr. Pepper Museum- 300 S 5thStreet, Waco TX

Decorate a balloon for Halloween and use carbon dioxide to bring their scary creation to life.

Free with general admission to the museum.

 

2 pm-Halloween Haunt Family Festival

Knead Peace, Belton TX

Price starts at $10

 

October 13

10:30-Worship in the patch-Central Christian Church-Waco, TX

Come worship God among the pumpkins.

 

October 17-19

Silobration-Magnolia Silos-Waco, TX

9am-6pm Check Magnoloa.com for exact times of events.

New events this year including a midway with Ferris wheel, rooftop picnic area, 40+ artisan vendors and food trucks from all over the U.S. With after-hours concert by Johnnyswim and Josh Garrels.

 

October 19

Fall Fest Clifton-Clifton, TX

10am-6pm

Come shop the Main Street shops, galleries and boutiques and eateries with vendors set up all along Main Street. Classic cars also set up along with the Clifton Classic Chassis Car Museum.  There will be a play space set up for kids with games, exhibits and attractions.  There will also be 3 entertainment stages to enjoy music from local musicians and local dancers throughout the day.

 

October 24

10am-11am -Pumpkin patch parade and story time.

Tickets will be available at the end of September.

Trick or treating, face painting, games and a costume contest.

7-11pm-Karem Shrine Halloween Dance and Party-Karem Temple-400 Karem Cir, Waco TX

Benefiting the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

 

5-7pm Community Trunk or Treat

Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber of Commerce- One Fellowship Church-915 La Salle Ave., Waco, TX

Trick or Treat among the decorated vehicles.

 

October 27

4-5pm Elite Therapy Center-Children’s therapy services-601 W Loop 340, Waco, TX

 

October 28

3rdAnnual Halloween Fun Run

Brazos Park East-Martin King Luther Jr. Blvd., Waco TX

Dress up your entire family and come out to the 1k fun run for children under 10, 5k fun run, and a free festival for the community. Races begin at 9:30am. Festival games begin at 10:30am.  Race entry is $10 for children under 10 and $25 for adults. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes.

 

October 30

6pm First Baptist Woodway Fall Festival

Admission is $2 per child plus a bag of individually wrapped candy.  Family max charge of $5. Indoor event with bounce houses, carnival games, face painting, photo booth and candy galore.

 

October 31

6-8pm-5thAnnual Hewitt Spooktacular-Midway High School-8200 Mars Drive, Waco, TX

Free event with trick or treating, costume contests, prizes and more. A portion of the events proceeds go toward Hewitt First United Methodist Church’s Hallelujah Food Pantry.

 

6-7pm-Trunk or Treat

Speegleville Baptist Church- 469 Speegle Rd., Waco TX

 

6-8pm-Zoo Boo

Cameron Park Zoo-1701 N. 4thSt., Waco, TX

Trick or treating throughout the zoo and enjoy themed activities and games.

$9 for adults, $6 for children 4-12 and 3 and under get in free.

 

November 1

12am-Halloween Organ Concert-Baylor University-1301 S University Parks Dr., Waco, TX
