Silobration is here! Are you READY?

Fall in Waco doesn’t always promise cooler temperatures, but there are a few things that make it feel like the seasons are finally changing. Silobration is one of those things that truly ushers in the holiday season around here. If you’re a local, you might think it’s not worth braving the crowds to see something we always have access to, but there are a few tips to attending that help make it totally worth it.

Try to attend the vendor fair on Thursday, October 27. The vendor fair is FREE and the street is full of amazing vendors that work super hard to bring their products to Waco. They travel from all over the country for Silobration and supporting them is like giving a big ole’ Texas hug upon arrival. Many of them are willing to chat about their story and listen to yours. There are many local vendors included and supporting local businesses goes a long way. The vendor fair doesn’t get really busy on Thursday so if you go in the morning it will definitely be calmer than Saturday afternoon.

You don’t have to do everything in one day! If you’re local, since many of the attractions are free, break it up over a few days. Shop the vendor fair Thursday and then if you want to do more, get food and go to the concert Friday or Saturday night. On Friday, October 28, Drew & Ellie Holcomb are performing. If you haven’t heard their music, dreamy is an understatement. On Saturday, JOHNNYSWIM is back and there are still tickets available. Infinity Song is the opening act on both nights and I’m very excited to welcome them back to Waco. They are a whole vibe! The concerts at Magnolia are always an experience so don’t hesitate to grab a ticket if you’re on the fence!

Magnolia keeps it fresh and this year there will be a skating rink on the grounds. Take it back to your younger days when you used to have all the moves. Be careful, warm up and don’t act like you’re in 8th grade or you might hurt yourself, but tickets are $20 for an adult and $15 for kids 12 and under.

You can find all of the details and more HERE! It will definitely be a good time.
