Christmas time is here!

Below is a list of the fun activities you can take the whole family to! I’m sure there will be more popping up throughout the season, so keep an eye out on our Instagram stories for any new fun things we find around Waco!

  • Nature in Lights
    • November 11, 2022 – January 1, 2023, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. Nightly, 5:30-11pm
    • Enjoy a five-and-a-half mile holiday lights attraction at BLORA your entire Family can enjoy! Tune into your vehicle Radio Station 91.9FM to listen holiday music for your Nature In Lights drive through experience!
    • Santa’s Village will be open select days and times, so be sure to check out the website to make the most of your visit! You can also find special events, rates, and directions on the site .
  • Lights of West
    • November 23 – December 30
    • Drive Through Hours:
      • Daily, 6-10pm
    • Celebrate Christmas this year by experiencing Texas’s newest Christmas light park.  Lights of West is over a mile long and features 100+ scenes, 70 Christmas trees and more than one million Christmas lights.
    • Trailer rides, pictures with Santa, and concessions available this year!

  • Christmas Lights at the Silos
    • November 25 – December 30
    • Join Magnolia for a month of merry at the Silos! They’ve got fun events planned and daily surprises to keep you in the Christmas spirit (including snow!). Bring your family and friends as we delight in the holiday season together.

  • Wild Lights at Cameron Park Zoo

    • Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday – 6:00-9:00pm (last entry at 8:00pm)
    • Friday & Saturday – 6:00-10:00pm (last entry at 9:00pm)
    • Closed Dec 24 & 25
    • T’was a night before Christmas, and all through the park not a creature was stirring as the evening grew dark. With the animals tucked away safely for a long winter’s night. The Zoo suddenly brightened with thousands of tiny lights. There were carolers singing and tasty treats, too. Now there’s just one thing missing– we’re all expecting you!
  • Market at the Mill Funky Flea & Norwegian Country Christmas
    • December 2nd – 3rd
    • December 3rd Funky Flea will kick off at 6:00pm with live music, food, drinks, beer, and 40+ vendors for shopping at Market at the Mill in Clifton.
    • While Funky Flea is happening, Norwegian Country Christmas will also be in full force with a 6:30pm lighted Christmas parade kicking things off Friday night and more events Saturday.

  • Christmas Lights in the Village at the Mayborn Museum
    • December 9th – 11th & 16th – 18th, 6:00-8:00pm
    • The thousands of lights illuminating the Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village are sure to create unforgettable memories.
      Slow down your holiday season with a relaxing stroll through the village that will include a petting zoo, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, food for purchase from local vendors, and more!
  • Breakfast with Santa at the Earle-Napier-Kinnard House
    • Saturday, December 10th, 10:00am – 2:00pm
    • Join us for a morning of arts, crafts, food, and Santa at the Helen Marie Taylor Museum. There will be activities galore and opportunities for pictures with Santa Clause for the whole family!

  • Christmas on the Brazos
    • Saturday, December 3 – 6:00-9:00pm, Hofmann House
    • Our annual Christmas dinners are back! Join us at historic homes across Waco to enjoy this festive evening. Tickets for the catered dinners are $85 each, and can be purchase by calling our office at 254-753-5166 to reserve your seat. RSVP by November 25th.

  • Christmas on 5th Street with Baylor
    • Thursday, December 1 – 5:00-10:00pm
    • A trail of lights begins on 5th Street and continues throughout campus. Horse-drawn carriages trot past activities like a faux ice rink, face painting, vendor market, and local food trucks.

  • Christmas Skate Camp
    • December 26 – 30, 8:30am-1:00pm

  • McGregor Christmas Parade and Cookies with Santa
    • Saturday, December 10th
    • Parade down mainstreet and after the parade Santa will be at Legacy Park for free cookies, juice, and pictures

  • Texas Country Christmas in McGregor
    • December 21 – 23rd, 4:00 – 9:00pm
    • Free admission – snow slides, train rides, kids games, crafts, live music, unique lights and Santa!
  • Light Up Christmas Parade – Robinson
    • December 1, 6:00pm
    • The City of Robinson and The Greater Robinson Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce the annual Christmas parade will be on December 1st!
      The parade will begin at Robinson High School and end at Peplow Park for the annual tree lighting.
    • This year’s theme is Cowboy Country Christmas – register floats online by November 29th.
  • A Dreamy Christmas at Cultivate
    • December 4th, 1:30-4:30pm
    • Cultivate 712
    • Join us for a dreamy Christmas with storytime and photos with Santa, local mini market, and crafts!
  • Christmas in the Country – Lorena
    • November 26, 10:00am-4:00pm
    • Parade starting at 11:00am followed by lunch and shopping downtown
  • SENSORY SANTA at Central Christian Church
    • December 10, 2:00-5:00pm
    • Register by December 5th so Santa can bring enough goodies – visit the link above.
    • Enjoy crafts, games, food trucks, bounce houses, Angel Paws, face painting, and more!
  • Central Waco Library Make-N-Take Ornament Extravaganza 
    • December 19-22, 10:00am – 6:00pm
    • Do you need a last minute ornament to finish your decorating? Stop by this week and make something amazing! We’ll have materials and directions to make unique ornaments and there will be something for tiny hands and more experienced ones, so bring the whole crew!
  • Milk & Cookies with Santa
    • Sunday, December 4th – 2:00-4:30pm

Whew! That’s a lot! But we sure hope there is at least ONE thing on this list that you will find to enjoy with your kids, your family, or even your girlfriends! And if you ever need a friend to shop with or another mom to take the kids together.. that’s what Waco Moms is for!
