The Holidays are a special time to cook those tasty treats and Waco Moms contributor Dani Stone brings us her Holiday Recipe: Turtle Bundt Cake.
There is something about holiday baking that feels like an instant mood lift. The house gets warmer, the kitchen smells sweeter, and even the simplest recipe turns into a moment you want to hold onto. Baking has always been one of the easiest ways to bring joy into our home, especially when it is me and Lyric in the kitchen working side by side. It has become one of our favorite little family traditions this time of year.
This Turtle Bundt Cake is one of those festive recipes that makes people smile.ย Rich chocolate, warm caramel, crunchy pecans, and a final sprinkle of mini chocolate chips come together in the most decadent way. It is not exactly a seasonal flavor combo, but it is the kind of indulgent, over the top dessert that fits perfectly into the holidays. And yes, a slice was gone before I could take a picture.
I made a few small tweaks from the original version. Instead of chocolate frosting, we used squeeze bottle caramel and chocolate sauce, which gives you the same pretty finish with less effort. I didnโt toast the pecans this time since we were keeping things simple, but it truly does make a difference when you have a few extra minutes. And the mini chocolate chips were a joint decision. We both looked at the cake and agreed it needed a little extra something.

This recipe sounds absolutely delicious! I bought myself a Bundt pan a few months ago, and have made a couple of different cakes in it that turned out pretty good. May have to definitely try this one! ๐ฐ๐๐โค๏ธ
