Are you looking for a place to find connection and community?
Have you been longing for friendships where you feel seen, known, and encouraged? We know that while motherhood is a rewarding and fulfilling season of life, it can tend to feel isolating. That’s why we’d love to invite you to join Sisterhood, the women’s ministry of Harris Creek Baptist Church. We are a group of women cheering one another on as we seek to love God more deeply and follow Him more faithfully.
Throughout the year, Sisterhood provides opportunities for women to come together in ways that fit every stage of life, whether through corporate worship gatherings, Bible studies, prayer groups, or topical breakout nights. Our heartbeat is simple…no matter who you are, you belong here.
This Fall We are Especially Excited About the Opportunities to Gather!
We’ll kick things off with Sisterhood Worship Night on September 23rd at 7:00p, as well as a fun pre-party beginning at 6:30p.
This evening will be full of laughter, friendship, and encouragement as women from all across Waco gather to worship, pray, and encounter God together. Whether you’ve been to church your whole life or you’re just beginning to explore faith, this night is for you. For more information and to register, please click here.
Next up, on October 7th and 8th, we’ll begin our Sisterhood Study, a seven-week Bible study.
Around your table, you’ll not only open the Word but also your life, sharing stories, praying for one another, and forming bonds that extend far beyond the study. We offer Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30p (in-person and virtual) and Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11a. (in-person). Whether you’ve done countless studies or have never cracked open a Bible before, you are welcome here!

Monthly Prayer Groups
In addition to our larger gatherings, Sisterhood also offers monthly prayer groups that meet in living rooms throughout the city. These groups are smaller, more intimate settings where women can pray with and for each other. To join a group or to get more information, click here.
What makes Sisterhood unique is the relationships that are formed.
Time and time again, women tell us that Sisterhood gave them the courage to step into community. It’s a place where joy is celebrated, struggles are carried together, and faith is strengthened. If you’re looking for a fresh start, a deeper connection, or simply a safe space to be reminded that you’re not alone, this is it.

No matter where you’re coming from or what season of life, we believe Sisterhood has a place for you. At Sisterhood, no woman stands alone.
