Mommy and Daughter Dates {for all ages}

1

Have you been on any Mom & Daughter dates recently?

Who doesn’t love special time with they’re little girls? I love having one on one mommy and me dates with my girls! Waco has so much to offer and I have compiled a list off all the things for ALL ages!

This first list I have compiled is geared toward younger children. These are things that my girls think are so special and love to do with me. My girls are ages two and four, just to give you an idea.

Ages 3+

Magnolia Market

There is so much to do here. Here’s what a morning at the market for us looks like. We get there around 8:30am. You never have to worry about parking because it isn’t crowded yet. We head over to the bakery and I let the girls each choose a breakfast item. We sit outside on the lawn, eat and play on the lawn with the soccer balls and giant jenga blocks. This is one of their favorite things to go!

Dessert dates

Bjs brewhouse – $3 pizookies

Smallcakes Waco – Toddler Tuesday, bring your toddler in for a free mini cupcake!

Uswirl – Weigh in Wednesday, guess the weight and receive your yogurt for free!

Baskin Robins – $1.70 scoops on January 31, 2020!!

Common Grounds Woodway

This is another great breakfast stop for us. We meet up with friends, grab some coffee and breakfast burritos and let the kids sit out on the lawn and play. My girls love it! They have a cute little turf area that’s fenced off. You can also go for dinner and eat at Slow Rise Pizza! It’s yummy!

Waco Hippodrome

Go grab lunch and a movie! They have a full restaurant and an amazing atmosphere to relax and watch something on the big screen! Keep and eye out because they frequently have a “cereal bar” and a movie for kids on Saturday mornings! It’s great!

Cameron Park Zoo

We have a zoo membership and go frequently but adding a little picnic to our trip to the zoo makes it pretty special for the girls! We will pack lunches at home (I let the girls pack whatever they want) and show up down at Pecan Bottoms at Cameron Park and have lunch before heading into the zoo!

Kiddieland

If you’ve been around Waco for a while then you probably know the little charm that Kiddie land has to offer. It’s special to us locals. This is one of our favorite date nights with the girls. They close for the winter and won’t be opened back up until spring break and through the summer, but this is a spot you have to remember! Go ride the train!

Mommy and Me Pedicures

Our favorite spot is ZiZi nail and spa at the Central Texas Market Place. They’ve got two cute Sleeping Beauty chairs that are right next to adult pedicure chairs. They are so clean and always so friendly. We love that this nail salon is centrally located!

Ages 10+

Putt-putt

There are two spots in Waco for putt-putt so you can enjoy this either rain or shine! Putt Putt Fun Center (Kiddieland) is open 7 days a week! *weather permitting* They have a daily special where you can buy a 10 day ticket for $25, a $35 value! If it’s raining or too cold outside you can always go to Lunar golf inside the Richland Mall! This is an indoor putt putt course that is GLOW IN THE DARK! Tons of fun and also something different!

Bowling

Waco recently updated our one and only AMF bowling lanes! There’s arcade games, food and drinks! It is also a GREAT place to have birthday parties!

Waco Pedal Tours

They offer multiple pedal tour options. Daily, nightly and even a happy hour tour!

Waco Escape Rooms

There are 5 different escape rooms to choose from! So much fun for a date night or just a night out with friends!

Local Concerts

Common Grounds at Baylor and also The Backyard Waco frequently have concerts! So much fun to be had at these two spots! Make sure to keep an eye out and look for all the different types of entertainment these two venues bring!

Whether you’re a stay at home mom that needs to step out of the house for a few hours or a mom coming in town to visit your daughter at Baylor, I hope this list of ideas helps you out! Waco has so much to offer and it is such a fun little town. I know I didn’t even scrape the surface with this list but it’s definitely a start!

Are you a boy mom as well? Check out our Mommy & Son dates here!

Enjoy this little town of ours.
